Scripture: Know well the condition of your flocks, and pay attention to your herds; for riches are not forever (Proverbs 27:23-24).
Today Thoughts: A wise shepherd understands the needs of his sheep for good pasture, fresh water, and protection from harm. In business, your customers’ needs are not always so obvious. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that just because they aren’t complaining, they are happy and satisfied.
To understand what your customers want and need from you, there’s no substitute for direct feedback. Take time to call your customers, not only to ascertain their current level of satisfaction, but to see what new products or services they desire. Listen to your customers’ concerns, and develop an organized method to meet their needs.
If your clientel is mostly walk-in, such as in a restaurant or retail shop, get out front and mingle with your customers. Ask for their honest feedback, then act on their recommendations and suggestions. Be alert for any new items or services they request.
In today’s marketplace, customers will go where their needs are being satisfied. Don’t fall asleep on the job and let your competitors take away your best customers.
A little folding of your hands to rest – and your poverty will come in like a vagabond (Proverbs 6:10-11)
In today’s marketplace, customers will go where their needs are being satisfied.
