Are you secretly hoping someone else will follow through in an area for which your are responsible?

Scripture: Arise! For this matter is your responsibility, but we will be with you; be courageous and act (Ezra 10:4).
Today’s Thought: You cannot wait for others to act when, the responsibility is yours. Follow through with customers’ orders and service requests. Too often we say “I’m doing the best I can” or “It’s the supplier’s fault for the mix-up.” By shifting the blame, we think we have washed our hands of the problem.
But the fact remains – your responsibility is your responsibility, period. Accept it, then act on it. Don’t offer excuses for any service or quality problem or for not meeting customer commitments. Intervene personally if necessary. Go out of your way to correct the problem instead of asking the customer to bear the consequences. Your customers will not only be delighted, but they will come back for more of your business.
He also who is slack in his work is brother to him who destroys (Proverbs 18:9).
Don’t offer excuses for any services or quality problems.
