Do you accomplish the urgent at the expense of the important in your business?

Scripture: “For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).
Today’s Thought: If the Lord plans, so must you and I. Determining key objectives and planning sound strategies make a major difference in the success of a business. If you don’t have objectives or a strategy, the daily grind will take over and your business will stay stuck in the mud of mediocrity.
Each day, write on your calendar one objective that will make a difference that day; then focus on getting the task done. Accept no excuses from yourself. Day by day, you will see real progress in your business.
Jesus never accepted the urgent as a substitute for the truly important and neither should we.
Like a city that is broken into and without walls is a man who has no control over his spirit (Proverbs 25:28).
Each day, write on your calendar one objective that will make a difference that day.
