Today’s Thought: When other salespeople book a big order or land a new account, it’s time to celebrate. Do your part to build teamwork and a climate of encouragement by offering your congratulations.

If someone else suggests a new product idea or an improved work process, don’t be a wet blanket or a stumbling block; instead applaud the innovation and jump on board.

Learn from the success of others. Inquire how an account was landed or how the better idea was conceived and apply the same principles to your work. Use others’ victories as a catalyst for your own creative thinking, and either come up with your own ideas or help to refine theirs.

Remember, everybody wins when new business come in and new ideas are

implemented. But everyone loses if some people are moping around or backbiting. Join others’ celebrations with a whole heart, and you’ll soon be celebrating your own success.
