Do you gossip against your boss?

Scripture: Let all who are under the yoke as slaves regard their own masters as worthy of all honor so that the name of God and our doctorine may not be spoken against (I Timothy 6:1).
Today’s Thought: When coworkers speak against the boss, don’t join in. Follow the old adage, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.” Not only will it keep you out of trouble, it is honoring to your boss. If you do say anything, your comments should be positive, supportive statements that balance a situation.
Cutting down the boss only destroys morale for everyone. The workplace takes on a negative atmosphere, and you begin to believe all the exaggerations you hear.
If slaves who occupied the lowest state imaginable are commanded to honor their masters, then surely we, as employees, should honor those who supervise us. If you do have a complaint, sit down with your supervisor and calmly discuss the issue. In this way you can be part of the solution, not part of the problem.
He who despises his neighbour lacks sense, but a man of understanding keeps silent (Proverbs 11:12).
Cutting down the boss only destroys morale for everyone, including you.
