Do you pay your workers fairly?

Scripture: For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it shall be measured to you (Matthew 7:2).
Today’s Thought: As an employer, you are entitled to a good day’s work from every employee. Your staff should be held accountable for providing quality products and excellent customer service. At the same time, however, you have a responsibility to pay fair wages.
To determine an equitable wage scale for each job, conduct a salary
survey of other similar businesses or similar-size businesses in your area, or check
with your industry association. Make sure you place each staff member into the
correct salary range.
But don’t just take the survey results at face value. Consider the value of each position to the success of your company, not just whether the job is high or low on the totem pole.
If you pay a fair wage, you will hold on to the workers you need to build your business.
He who is gracious to a poor man lends to the LORD, and He will repay him for him for his good deed (Proverbs 19:17).
Consider the value of each position to the success of your company, not just whether the job is high or low on the totem pole.
