Scripture: Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example (1 Timothy 4:12 NIV).
Today’s Thought: Regardless of your age or level of experience, you have the ability to set a good example for others at work.
Start by presenting a sharp appearance. Dress appropriately and keep your personal grooming habits conservative. You may not feel like “dressing up,” but your attire will affect how you are perceived by customers, coworkers, and your boss. Consider the job you’d like to hold in the future, not just the one you have today.
Demonstrate a desire to improve your work by asking good questions and being willing to learn, adapt, and grow in your job. Maintain a helpful attitude, especially to your boss and customers. Report to work promptly each day and be reliable with your attendance.
Set a good example and you will be poised for promotion.
She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks (Proverbs 31:17 NIV).
Demonstrate a desire to improve your work by asking good questions and being willing to learn, adapt, and grow in your job.
