Do you accept defeat easily?

Today’s Thought: One of the bedrock qualities of people who succeed in business is tenacity in the face of adversity, a never-say-die-attitude that seeks to snatch victory from the jaws of every defeat.

If you lose a customer, call and find a way to win back their business. And continue to call on other accounts you want to win. Persistence pays off.

If you’re having difficulties with equipment or product quality, stay focused on solving the root causes, and follow through until the problem is corrected.

If a key employee quits and leaves behind unfinished business, dig into those files, get yourself up to speed, and complete the project. Whatever the particular problems that you face in your business, tenacious persistence is bound to pay dividends.

Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life (Proverbs 4:23).
