Scripture: Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so? (Amos 3:3 NIV).
Today’s Thought: The best customer relationships are those built on mutual respect and interdependence. When your customers get as much out of their business relationship with your company as you do, everybody wins.
The key to successful partnerships with our customers is agreement. Often, however, we settle for agreement on price and terms alone and never explore deeper possibilities for cooperation. A true customer partnership includes a full understanding of the client’s business, a commitment to service and quality levels that meet or exceed expectations, and a willingness to adapt products, services, and business practices to accommodate a client’s needs.
It all starts with honesty and trust. Meet with your customers, discuss your mutual strengths and weaknesses, and outline a plan for working effectively together. Make sure to reach full agreement if you want a true partnership. If you invest in your customer relationships, they will be lasting and strong.
Keep deception and lies far from me, give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is my portion (Proverbs 30:8).
When your customers get as much out of their business relationship with your company as you do, everybody wins.
