Do you plan your business activities in advance, or simply trust that everything will work out?

Scripture: The plans of the diligent lead surely to advantage, but everyone who is hasty comes surely to poverty (Proverbs 21:5).

Today’s Thought: When we fail to plan, our business soon becomes unfocused because we are unclear where we want and need to go. In the midst of changing circumstances and a highly competitive marketplace, we may become confused about how we should be investing our time and resources. Confusion can quickly give way to discouragement and loss of hope when matters take a turn for the worse.

Write a business plan. Create a vision of what the business should look like in several years and identify clear objectives, both short- and long-term. When establishing objectives, be sure that each is quantifiable and measurable. Then devise action plans to make your vision a reality.

As plans take shape and you move forward, you and your team will once again see the future with hope and enthusiasm.

Commit your works to the LORD, and your plans will be established (Proverbs 16:3).

When we fail to plan, our business soon becomes unfocused.
