Scripture: Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor (Ecclesiastes 4:9).
Today’s Thought: Businesspeople talk a lot about teamwork, but when problems arise at work, the temptation is often to try to solve it themselves.
The advantage of work team is that they bring together individuals with different skills, experience, and knowledge, resulting in a well-rounded effort. As long as team members are willing to work well together and maintain a positive attitude, the output produced by a team will almost always exceed the sum of the individual parts.
The key is cooperation. Start by selecting team members who are expert in their respective disciplines and are able to get along. Establish clear goals and expectations, including deadlines and quality standards. Help team members see how their contributions fit with the big picture. Work through differences in style and communication, and keep everyone focused on the ultimate goal. Then watch as your team works together to strengthen your business.
He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, but he who walks wisely will be delivered (Proverbs 28:26).
Work teams bring together individuals with different skills, experience, and knowledge, resulting in a well-rounded effort.
