How do you evaluate your vendors?

Scripture: He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much (Luke 16:10).
Today’s Thought: Before you place a big order or sign a contract with a new vendor, test the supplier’s reliability and responsiveness. Start with a trial order before committing all your business. Check out the speed of their deliveries, the accuracy of their counts, and the quality of their service. Does their performance correspond with their promises? Do you uncover any hidden charges or undisclosed costs?
Request a list of the vendor’s other customers, and choose several at random to call as references. Ask questions to determine the buyer’s satisfaction with the vendor. Do they have any reservations or concerns? Does the supplier respond promptly to inquiries or complaints?
A little due diligence on the front end may save a lot of aggravation down the road. Determine first if the vendor is faithful, and then arrange for a long-term partnership.
He who walks in integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out (Proverbs 10:9).
