When hiring, do you match the candidate with not only the job, but the company?

Scripture: Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let each exercise them accordingly (Romans 12:6).
Today’s Thought: Two factors are essential for maximum job satisfaction and success: a person’s aptitude for the job and how well they fit within the organization.
As a hiring manager, it’s important to consider both factors when interviewing applicants. Start by matching the requirements of the job with the candidates’ skills and experience. If they have the necessary qualifications, ask questions that will determine their compatibility with your organization. For example, do they prefer business suits or business casual?
Fixed hours or flex time? Top-down leadership or self-directed teams?
Just because someone has the necessary skills doesn’t mean they fit your company. Match well and hire wisely for maximum business success.
Then you will walk in your way securely, and your foot will not stumble (Proverbs 3:23).
Just because someone has the necessary skills doesn’t mean they fit your company.
