Scripture: The LORD has sought out for Himself a man after His own heart (1 Samuel 13:14).
Today’s Thought: To be successful, any organization must work as a team. The most effective team players will share a common vision with the leader.
When hiring new staff members, clearly outline your mission and vision and ask for the applicant’s feedback. Listen carefully to the response and look for genuine agreement, excitement, and interest. If you sense that the applicant “doesn’t quite get it” or is not in synch with your vision, back off and don’t hire that person, regardless of his or her other qualifications. Even the most gifted individuals will not fit in they can’t embrace the corporate vision wholeheartedly.
When team members are truly united around a common purpose, a synergy develops that transcends the sum of the individual parts. Build your team carefully around your vision, and your business will soar.
The locusts have no king, yet all of them go out in ranks (Proverbs 30:27).
When team members are truly united around a common purpose, a synergy develops that transcends the sum of the individual parts.
